We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef that reports to and is supported by our Head Chef at Highway Garden & Leisure, where we put the customer at the heart of everything that we do.

Duties will include:

• Managing the consistent daily production, preparation and presentation of all food to ensure a quality product for our guests
• Managing and motivating kitchen staff through training and mentoring to help them be the best that they can be
• Overseeing food service by directing the presentation and portion control according to the Company standards
• Ordering and receipting deliveries, rotating stock, controlling and reporting wastage
• Managing the team to maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure all food safety processes and legalities are adhered to
• Keeping customer waiting time to a satisfactory level by supporting all areas as required
• Participating in menu development by working with the Head Chef and Food Buyer
